The inside part where you insert goodies is 8cm long and approximately 5cm wide.

You source and fill it with your own goodies.

These items are delicate. 

Place the cracker face-down and fold inwards on all the scored lines.  You should have something that looks like a weird W.

Slide the protruding ends through the slits. Work carefully.  It works best to start with the middle part, then do the two sides.

The part where the ribbon gets tied is very thin and delicate.  The best way to tie your ribbon, is to support one open side against your body.  Carefully push the body of the cracker towards you so that the triangles fold inwards nicely. Bring your ribbon around at this point and gently, but firmly, start pulling it into a tie.  Don't pull the ribbon too hard, as the triangles might tear at this point.  Now tie your knot so that the ribbon stays in place.
